Vivek Tandon’s Education

Vivek received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from California State University. He then worked as an underwriter for a national mortgage bank before entering law school. Vivek received his law degree from Suffolk University School of Law, and in addition to working for his Immigration Law professor, he interned at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office assisting in criminal prosecution matters.

Before founding EB5 BRICS, Vivek gained insight into the intricate ways in which business and law interact to affect an organization’s bottom line while serving as the business development head of an Indian-based legal technology and services outsourcing company, and as an in-house attorney overseeing contractual matters. Vivek also has extensive trial expertise as a litigation lawyer, having worked for a large national firm based in Los Angeles handling consumer protection cases. As a public defender, he represented parents in juvenile courts in Los Angeles and Santa Clara Counties.

What it’s like to be a Lawyer and Investment Banker?

Vivek is the Founder and CEO of EB5 BRICS, where he uses his skill and expertise as an Attorney and Investment Broker to provide comprehensive guidance for investors in navigating the complex immigration pathways they may face. Investors hoping to live, work or study in the U.S. may face not only legal matters related to immigration, but also business and tax law, and even family law. Based on his knowledge of the law, Vivek suggests courses of action, advises his clients on their legal rights and responsibilities, and provides representation in court when required. Because he is also an investment broker, Vivek has the unique understanding needed to guide clients through the investment process and make recommendations based on their goal to create a business opportunity and immigrate to the U.S. In addition to buying and selling securities and investment products on his client’s behalf, he conducts market research and makes recommendations on investment opportunities that can result in the investor’s ultimate goal of gaining permanent residence in the United States.
